Usher Cancels Entire Australian Tour Without Explanation

Usher’s Australian Tour Cancelled: What Fans Need to Know

The global R&B superstar abruptly pulls the plug on 12 sold-out arena shows in Melbourne and Sydney, leaving fans stunned.

Multi-platinum R&B icon Usher has officially cancelled his highly anticipated Past Present Future Australian tour, which was set to light up Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s SuperDome with 12 arena shows in November and December 2025.

Initially announced as an 8-show run, the tour quickly expanded to 12 dates due to overwhelming demand during the pre-sale period. However, all listings have now been pulled, with neither the artist nor promoter Live Nation providing a clear reason for the sudden cancellation.

Fans expecting to see Usher for the first time since his 2018 R&B Fridayz appearances are understandably disappointed. The timing of the cancellation adds to an already congested Australian concert season, with major acts like AC/DC, Kendrick Lamar, and Metallica scheduled to perform later this year.

According to Ticketek, all ticket purchases will be automatically refunded to the original payment method. Customers who used gift vouchers or purchased from agencies are being contacted directly to complete the process.

With no further explanation released, speculation continues online about the cause behind the cancellation. Whether due to scheduling conflicts, health concerns, or strategic decisions, the absence of a statement has only intensified the mystery.

For those affected, patience is key. Ticketek advises allowing up to 30 business days for refunds to appear.
